The Men's and Women's Cross Country Teams Travelled to Fortress Obetz on Saturday for the OHSAA Early Season Invitational. This is one of the biggest races of the entire season and our athletes turned in some great performances.

In the women's race our team was led by Kensington Black, who is back in form after an injury plagued season in 2022. She raced out to a quick start and continued to pick off runners ahead of hear coming away with a time of 19:24.5 placing 17th out of 348 runners. She was followed by Bryley Wulff (24:52.7), Sarah Wallace (25:16.6), Kydee Shults (27:17.0), and Laila Black (29:14.8). These were some great times to lead off our season.

In the boys race our team was led by Chris Bond. He got off to a great start through the first couple of turns and continued to move his way up through the crowd.
