The HS Wildcats had a busy week last week with a full slate of action and some makeups from the previous week's heat wave. Boys Golf had a great week defeating Edgewood in a head to head match 156-189. On Saturday the competed in the mid-season SWBL tournament series and came away in 2nd place. Girls Golf continues to show improvement. Kaily Harter shot a 57 and Adrian Allen shot a 64 in their tri match with Carlisle and Edgewood. Girls Tennis had one of their most difficult weeks of the season going 0-3 against Bellbrook, Ross and Carlisle but they look to get back on track this week. Volleyball dropped their one match of the week against Ross in 3 very competitive sets. Boys and Girls Soccer both dropped one goal games to Talawanda and Eaton and then both lost to Ross on Thursday night. Cross Country team competed in the Legacy Ambassador invite over the weekend where several boys and girls set PR times. Varsity football won in very convincing fashion over Washington Court House 42-8. Malachi Gipson scored 3 Touchdowns on the night and Lily Cook was 6 for 6 on extra points. The defense and special teams played a complete game forcing several turnovers and a blocking a punt.
