Last week the Cats battled mother nature with extreme temperatures as well as some very tough opponents on the playing field. Varsity football picked up its first loss of the season at the hands of state powerhouse Marion Local. JV football remains unbeaten with a victory over Madison. Volleyball dropped two league matches against Monroe and Bellbrook, both boys and girls soccer also fell to Monroe and Bellbrook. Boys golf was 1-0 on the week defeating Waynesville. Girls Tennis had two matches rescheduled and the fell to West Carrolton 3-2 in the one match they could play. Girls Golf was off last week but the previous week showed great promise as all three members shot their best scores of the season and they continue to improve each time time out. Rounding out the week Cross Country competed at the Lebanon Invitational. Connor Green was the Wildcats Top finisher with an 8th overall place. Many others set course PR's on the weekend.
