The Franklin High School Hall of Fame Committee is excited to announce the inductees for the Class of 2024.

This years class will be officially recognized in a ceremony on August 24, 2024. This ceremony is open to the public and will be hosted at the High School starting at 5:00 pm. Leading up to the ceremony each week we will be highlighting one inductee. This week will be 1981 Graduate Chip Bonny.
Chip Bonny was an accomplished student and athlete at Franklin HS. He was President of the National Honor Society as well as Co- Valedictorian. He was an ALL League Basketball and Football Player and earned the opportunity to continue playing football at Yale University. He participated in football at Yale from 1981-85 and graduated with a degree in Applied Mathematics. He then went to the University of Kentucky where he graduated with his MBA in 1987.
After college Chip received many awards in his professional career including the Masters Club Award Winner, Champions Club Award Winner and the Leader's Circle Award Winner.
Chip dedicated much of his life to serving his community. He has held many positions within his local church, he served as a school board member and president. He has spent many years volunteering to coach youth sports.
Chip and his wife reside in Lebanon and have 8 children and 12 grandchildren.
