We are excited to welcome Jim Hamrick as our new Varsity Girls Softball Head Coach, pending Board approval. Jim has worked with the Lebanon program for many years, both at the High School and Middle School levels. He started and coached the Middle School program, amassing a 94-12 record. He also served as a head coach with the Ohio Thunder select travel organization from 2013-2024. Over that period his teams went 403-100. Thirteen of his student athletes went on to play at the collegiate level.

“I am extremely grateful to join the Franklin community. Coach Miller has created a well respected and sound program, and my goal is to continue his legacy. Our teams will focus on fundamentals and doing the small things that win ballgames. We will work hard and be the most prepared team on the diamond.”

Hamrick grew up in Lansdale, Pa., a suburb of Philadelphia and attended Temple University. He resides in Wilmington with his wife Helen. He has 3 daughters, Katie, 29, Sarah, 23, and Ashley, 21.
He recently retired from the Health Insurance industry and currently owns a bread distribution company. His hobbies include reading, travel, home improvements, and all things Philadelphia sports related.
