This Saturday, April 12, beginning at 9 AM, the Fortnite trio (Carson Wilson, Owen Bateson, Branson Powell) from the esports team will be competing in the state tournament. Our organization, Esports Ohio, is broadcasting all the drops on their Twitch channel. There will be 5 drops and we should finish around noon for those of you that are interested. I've included the link below for you should you want to watch. Their chat is typically active during the match if you wish the boys luck.

Some perspective for those of you that are not familiar with the popularity of esports across the state - There were over 200 teams registered just in the game of Fortnite. That's over 900 players. After our season and regional matches, only the top 30 teams qualify for the state tournament. This trio has been together for three years and has qualified three years in a row, but the team as a whole has qualified for the past four years. I've had some of them since junior high when we first started the program. To say we are looking forward to this match is an understatement. Feel free to share with anyone else as well.
