Cheer:
This weekend, the FHS competition cheerleaders brought home 1st place at the Cheer for a Cure Competition. This Saturday, they will be heading to Columbus to compete and defend their state title in hopes of bringing home another one.
Wrestling:
SWBL CHAMPIONSHIP, CARLISLE. - On Saturday, February 15th the Wildcats travelled to Carlisle for the SWBL Championship. Out of twelve weight class representatives eleven placed in the top six. For the second year in a row the Wildcats finished as overall SWBL Champions!
Leading the charge was Dareyan Egner, Tucker Campbell, and Jack Berry who were crowned tournament champions. Egner and Berry are now 2x SWBL Champions. Campbell finishes his league career as a 4x SWBL Champion and Wrestler of the Year. Campbell is now the second wrestler in program history to win four SWBL Championships (21’ Tyler Woods & 25’ Tucker Campbell.)

The road to the state tournament begins this weekend on Saturday, February 22nd at Clinton- Massie High School for the D-II Section Tournament.
Boys Basketball:
The boys basketball team concluded their regular season with a 13-8 record, finishing 2nd in SWBL league play. Senior Kai Cook was named SWBL Player of the Year for the second straight season, averaging 24.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Kai recently moved into 2nd all time in school history in points scored. Kai's 1,533 career points (and counting) puts him only behind Luke Kennard. Lincoln Clark was also named SWBL Honorable Mention. Lincoln finished 2nd in blocked shots in the SWBL and 3rd in rebounds. Varsity earned the 4 seed in the OHSAA tournament and will kick off post-season play this Thursday against Carroll at Centerville High School at 7:30 pm.
Girls Basketball:
The Lady CATS season came to an end Friday night in Springfield vs Tipp City. Banquet and season ending information coming soon!
